Ladies and Jews...gotta love those old Mel Brooks jokes dusted off.
Matt Damon gets a ribbing, George Clooney isn't in the mood to participate: they leave him alone. You see, guys? That's respect, and they say winning a Sexy Man Award is worthless!

Chistoph Waltz takes it! Fair play, he was the best thing in the movie.

Thanks Tarantino, one in the eye for the Germans already, and it's not even gone 10 minutes.

GIVE IT UP FOR DEADSHOT: Ryan Renoylds doing some cheesy promo for 'The Blind Side'. Not seen this movie, but it seems to be about Southern white people adopting African Americans who can play American football (or if you're American; just football).
Great, personally I'd be adopting UFC fighters: more use, quicker cash.
OH no, who're these people now? Claudia Winkleman, David Baddiel, that bloke off 'Balls Of Steel' and Rona Anconda.
Was there a special offer on at the Lydl celebrity outlet? Whose next? one of the Nolans, how about the entire cast of 'Loose Women' or Jeremey ****ing Kyle?

Another obvious winner: 'Up', not seen it. Seems like a popular choice.

Amanda Syfried and Miley Cyrus, nervous and jittery present the nominiations for best song.
A tune from 'Crazy Heart' takes it.
Predictions wise: 1 out 3 so far. Well done if you're doing better out there.

Robert Downey Jr and Tiny Fey. Quite funny.
best original screenplay...
Playboy magazine's Mark Boal wins a little golden man for 'The Hurt Locker'.
An embedded journalist isn't worth a damn to any one whose serious about covering war.
Dedicated his win to the troops: what about their victims, Mark? At least he has the good sense to call it an unpopular war.

Hilarious OTT speech; wonder what was wrong with the poor guy, glad he's OK now.
Jimmy Cameron may as well be a cob of corn, becasue he's been buttered up like there's no tomorrow.

The Horror review was good, they picked EVERYTHING mainstream, or with actors that were in horror movies that people would recognize.
The John Hughes tribute was excellent. Oddly, last night as I was talking to my wife I equated him to Jim Brown or Bjorn Borg. Two men that were awesome at their sports that stepped away at the height of their game.
John basically did movies for ELEVEN YEARS! That's it. 23 movies, non of the first 20 are bad, not even close. Look on IMDB. It's scary, they were ALL GREAT.
Good job academy. Bender looked terrible.
