Doug Fieger lead singer of the new wave group The Knack has died at 57. The Knack were best known for the huge hit 'My Sharona'

one sidenote: 'My Sharona' is sometimes mistakenly thought to be an 80s song it was however a number 1 song for 6 weeks in 1979.

This might not be true, but was it Number One on the calender crossover from 1979 to 1980?

this is sad i love the knack just saw them 3-4 years ago with the fixx they were still very good so young yet and great talent RIP!!
