Finally bit the blue bullet and watched Avatar.
It was OK, and I can understand where all the hype came from, but I still maintain that it was a bit over-praised for what is still essentially 'Dances With Smurfs' in 3D....

I couldn't agree more on Avatar comment Paul. Borrowed it from a friend recently and was just sitting there at the end going what was the big deal. We recently saw both True Grit and The Fighter. Both great movies.

Yeah I thought Avatar sucked. I couldn't even sit through it. Probably made it about an hour and then had to turn it off.
Oh yeah, last 00 movie I watched was well I can't remember but I watched one made in the 10's.
It was The Town - 2010.
Despite it starring Ben Affleck it actually was pretty good. Not great but worth a watch.

The Switch w' Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman...a bit slow paced, but not too bad...I figured if I watched this with my wife, she's just gotta watch an 80's movie next chance we get!
We took our little guy to see Yogi Bear....hmmm...not so good. A bit old for a four year old, which I kinda knew in advance, but there just hasn't been much to take a toddler to since Toy Story 3....
