- This was great. You can count on Verhoeven. Kevin Bacon is awesome bad guy (live and CGI) and Doomsday star Rhona Mitra shows some skin. Also gotta mention Elisabeth Shue´s kick a$$ performance.

I watched Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins with Martin Lawrence. It was honestly one of the best and funniest movies I'v seen in awhile.
Buffalogirl, I agree--the Grudge 2 was much better than the first one.

I only have one good thing to say about this movie and that was Daniel Day Lewis' performance. I found the movie to be long, drawn out with very little to keep the interest.

I watched Midnight Movie, which was the 2008 feature film winner of the Chicago Horror Film Festival. It was a very good movie (very gory also) but the ending sucked, IMO. I'd actually like to see a sequel made.

I HATED Cloverfield, I saw it at the movie theatre, and we all got sick. I was sick for hours after it. I actually had to cover my head in places, because it was making me so dizzy.
I thought it was a horrible movie to make after everything New York has been through with 9-11....having the head of the Statue of Liberty coming rolling down the street- was not cool.

I fell asleep watching There Will Be Blood. Cloverfield wasn't that good. The handheld camera work could give you motion sickness...

I loved Cloverfield, it was so exciting and exhilarating.
Just tonight we watched Ella Enchanted. It was so much fun, much more than I expected it to be. I didn't recognise Vivica Fox tho as the fairy godmother, or Heidi Klum as Brunhilda.
It had a lot of cool actors - Cary Elwes, Parminder Nagra, Joanna Lumley, Patrick Bergin, Steve Coogan....
And the music was terrific, with some fun versions of "Walking on sunshine", "Somebody to love" and "Don't go breaking my heart"
