I was disappointed in the ending for We Own The Night petty. I was expecting some sort of big final showdown in the end but it was just over....

I know...I think there should've been more at the end. Like you said, it just ended. No fanfare, really big shootout or anything else.

Rails and Ties starring Kevin Bacon. It was really good, even though it was sad.

Not the last one I've seen, but picked up a bargain yesterday....
3-disc special edition pack of King Kong, Peter Jackson's excelent take on the classic - and paid the princely sum of £3.99 (or around $5.50) for it....

MR WOODC0CK. I usually rent horror movies and my husband ISNT that big a horror movie fan so every once and awhile I throw something different in the mix. We had seen BAD SANTA and SCHOOL FOUR SCOUNDRELS last month and enjoyed both so i decided to give this Billy Bob Thornton movie a shot.
It was okay and thats about it. Not great, not terrible. We laughed a few times (and one scene had me laughing my *** off) but all-in-all a pretty forgetable flick. Not bad a for a rainy day though.

I just watched Wanted starring Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, and James MacAvoy. A decent flick, although it wasn't exactly what I expected. I reminded me quite a bit of The Matrix, but not nearly as good.

Re: MR WOODC0CK - When I put it on my daughter walked into the room and I said "Do you wanna watch MR WOODC0CK with me?" and she said "What's it about?" and I said "A man who is terrified of woodpeckers." It took ker a minute been then she laughed her head off.
True story.

I watched Mirrors, with Keifer Southerland. It was an excellent movie. I saw the uncut version with the alternate ending. I want to go back and watch the ending on the theatrical version to see how they're different.

I watched Vantage Point starring Forest Whitaker, Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox. I thought is was pretty good. It was cool watching the same turn of events through the different characters perspectives.

Just watched 3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale and Russell Crowe.
Probably the best western I have seen since Unforgiven. 9/10.
