Finally saw this gem by the Coen brothers last night. What an incredible movie. It fully deserved winning the best picture award. I honestly believe that with a few more viewings this will be in my top 10 favourite movies of all time. Such great suspense.
Javier Bardem's portrayal of Anton Cigurh(sp) is truly one of the most evil villianous characters in movie history. He's a cross between Michael Myers and Keyser Soze in my opinion.
I highly reccommend it to those who haven't seen it yet.

I liked it, but it was a little strange, and a little slow for me...

My mom bought it, but we haven't watched it yet. I think it looks really good.

Great movie and Javier was sooooooo deserving of the award. I think what made it so suspensful to me was that Javier's character and Josh Brolin's (who gave a great performance as well) character were always just a step apart from each other.........

Motley,
You're right about how they were just always one step away from each other. The suspense was very good in some scenes. You've gotta admit his weapon was pretty weird and unique at the same time.

In West Texas his weapon probably didn't appear to be so out of place that he could walk around with it and people probably wouldn't give it a second look.

It was really an incredible film, so long and slow, yet entirely rivetting.
