Anybody a fan of some of these Japanese Horror flix that ya see on netflix. They are all similar to "The Grudge", which is a remake of the Japanese film "Ju-On". I was into them at first, but after I watched about 4 or 5 of them, the similarities become all to familiar between the movies. Scary dead girl "or ghost" with long wet black hair crawling on the ceiling to meet an innocent victim. My feelings are that some of these movies are genuinely creepy, they just need to get more creative with their story lines and their scary main character.

Never been a big horror fan, so I haven't seen any of these - however I do know what you mean.
It's the same with Anime - the early stuff was all original, fast paced, and very very good. More recently, there's been little to differentiate between the releases. It's very unusual to find a new bit of proper Japanese animation that isn't formulaic, repetitive, and far too familiar.
