I watched a very curious Swedish film a few weeks back - "Patrik, Age 1.5" (2008). It's about a gay couple who want to adopt a child and they are presented with Patrik. But the paperwork has a mistake and instead of being a baby of 1.5 years, he's actually a teenager of 15 years. He's homophobic as well. They can't give him back until Monday since he came on a Friday, so he has to spend the whole week-end with them.
It's really quite funny and also at times, heartbraking. Patrik causes their initial break-up but everything comes right in the end. I always hate these type of films as being categorised as Gay Interest. They are simply alternative romcoms. There's nothing offensive in this film - there's hardly any swearing either. It's a just simple idea from an unusual angle.
