there remaking everything. i got nothing agaisnt it, but i am not going to see it, i seen de palma's version and i dont see how it could be any better.

This is so silly seens as it was already remade in 2002. Not a patch on the original but wasn't bad.

"The real question is why, when the original was so good? I mean, not 'Casablanca,' or anything, but a really good horror-suspense film, much better than the book. Piper Laurie really got her teeth into the bad-mom thing. Although Lindsay Lohan as Carrie White… hmmm. It would certainly be fun to cast," he jokes. "I guess I could get behind it if they turned the project over to one of the Davids: Lynch or Cronenberg.”

i heard that stephen king was suppose to direct a freddy krueger movie at one time.

it would be interesting to see what he could come up with for freddy in a new movie

bringing back robert englund to play him of course

I heard Stephen King does not want a remake made of Carrie, that he thought the 70s version with Sissy Spacek was better than his own book was, and that the cast was perfect, and that there was no way anyone else could do a better job than the original.
