Hey Motley! I'm stoked to see "Scream 4" .. hopefully this weekend. I made a deal with Ronnie to wait until we both saw it to discuss it. We did that with "Take Me Home Tonight" and it was a total blast!
So I'll definitely post my thoughts on this thread after that, but probably won't check it again until after I watch it from fear of spoilers.

Well I want to go see it, but I'm busy this weekend and then next Saturday I have an all day workshop and Sunday is Easter. So I probably won't get around to seeing it...our theatre is small and they don't show stuff more than two wekeks in a row, usually. Maybe I can make it during spring break...

I'm going to see it next weekend. I'm planning on having a marathon of the original trilogy this weekend.
I heard from a couple people who saw it at midnight last night that it was really good!

I'm going to watch it next wednesday ,buy one get one free, did want to go to watch it tonight, but at my local odeon theatre it's just over 10 uk pounds per adult,it would be 20 pounds for my wife and i to go and see it,that's an extortionate amount of money for 1 movie, how do they get away with it! Then again i could always leave the wife at home!

I'm not going to spoil it for anyone just yet.
But if you are a fan of the original "Scream" .. I highly recommend that you go to the theater and watch "Scream 4"!

since it's Friday the 13th, i stayed up late last night watching Scream 1 and 3.
watching the first Scream was really cool. it's been a while since i had watched it. you notice how it's an 'older slasher' flick, when you hear lines like, 'young man, what are you doing with a cell phone?'...haha who doesn't have one of those these days? the music takes me back and i love the scenes where they start talking about the 'rules' of being in a horror movie and all the references to classics like Halloween, Psycho, Friday the 13th and a few more..
then i watched part 3 and it was not as serious and more silly, but i still liked seeing it. part 3 was made in 2000.. wow, and 11 years later, they made part 4!
and as for Scream 4, it's cool to see how they referenced part 1. i'm glad they went back and added another sequel to this franchise.
happy Friday the 13th!

I had a blast watching "Scream 4" .. as a huge fan of the original film.. I thought it was a worthy sequel.
I can't wait for the dvd release either!
Recently watched a great documentary on "Scream" with cast interviews .. it was outstanding as well.

First one was the scariest because you didn't know what was coming. The rest wasn't as scary, still good though.
