Whoa, this was a stinker! It was incredibly self-indulgent and they chose a ridiculous way to tell the story with all the flashbacks/flashforwards/flashwhatevers. I have no idea why this movie has been receiving praise. Over-hyped beyond belief.
What did you think of it?
IMDB Summary: A chronicle of the founding of Facebook, the social-networking Web site.

I think my my view is not shared by most, so you both may enjoy it. I'm interested to hear what you two think of it.

i think this movie was done really well. for me, the jumping scenes kept it moving along. i think it would have been boring had they not done it. probably the reason they all spoke very fast...to keep it tense.
the movie got a lot of awards at the golden globes on sunday. it won best picture, best director...and others but i don't think it should have.
but i still think this was a great movie. it's all just dialog but good performances by jesse eisenberg and andrew garfield.

I am not interested either. And I'm tired of seeing Jesse Eisenberg's sad, tired face too.

I would not even consider watching this. I would pay money to get out of it.

Me and my wife just seen this a few days ago....we both liked it. Not a movie I'll likely ever watch again, but found it interesting and really enjoyed Jesse Eisenberg's performance....though his one liners and sarcasim was quite funny. Didn't mind Justin Timberlake's performance in a couple other movies, however, he really annoyed me in this movie...not just his character (who was an obvious a**)....just Justin in general...not a fan regardless....just sayin.
*Surprised to hear that Facebook's estimated worth is....25 BILLION DOLLARS! Holy Crap! Though, if Jesse's character was portrayed accurately...the whole concept of "money ain't everything" certainly looks true, as he looked like one miserable and unhappy dude....tons of money and no one to share your life with...no thanks!

If I'm correct, the movie is fictional, and in real life he is with the same girl he was dating when he founded Facebook.

I hate this movie even more now after seeing all the asskissing at the golden globes.
Ronnie and Kev, I'm glad you liked it - thanks for sharing. At least we can agree on movies like Date With An Angel or Flashdance, right?
