While promoting Lost Boys: The Thirst… Corey Feldman was on The Today Show to talk about his new direct-to-video sequel to the incredible flick "The Lost Boys". Most people were disappointed in the first sequel, but there are rumors that fans of the original will be more accepting of this attempt.
Feldman was asked about the death of Corey Haim and spoke about it, clarifying that Haim died not of a drug overdose but of his heart condition and complications from pneumonia.
"It was reported ... that he died from a drug overdose, which, in fact, was not true," Feldman said. "He died of an enlarged heart and pneumonia. He had, in fact, been clean for a year and the autopsy results showed that. But, of course, it got buried in the press."
"He was a good boy," he continued. "He was taking care of his very sick mom who had cancer. He was cooking for her, cleaning for her, taking care of her on a daily basis. They found no drugs in his system."
Nothing really new, but still a sad reminder that the Two Coreys are no more.
Despite the fact that this new sequel will more than likely disappoint.. I'm definitely going to watch it soon. I like the idea that the Frog Brothers are teaming back up and I've heard that flashbacks to the original movie are incorporated into the story.. so count me in..
Let the bashing begin?

Okay, I watched it. It was just okay. I won't even try to compare it to the original, so I'll just compare it to part 2 Part 2 was def. better. I did like how they did flashbacks in this one. Seeing Corey Haim made me a little misty eyed.

Watching this movie right now. As Pettyfan mentioned, it is just decent.. could have been way better. They tried too hard to add Frog humor, major mistake.
The flashbacks were incredible .. the Batman comic tribute was a great touch.
Overall, it was more of a sequel than the second movie, but still in no way comparable to the original.
