Looks bad, Robert Downey Jr. & Jude Law make a good double act but the style, pace, visuals and tone seem way off. At best, its 'LXG' all over again, at worst; its another Guy Ritche film.
Guy Ritche has two great movies to his name ('Lock, Stock...' & 'Snatch'), but at this rate, that intrguing crusades epic he was planning in 2002 will never come to furition. Come on Guy!

RDJ was incredible as Charlie Chaplin, he's good in most movies ('Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' is one of my favourites).

At least it wont be the usual stuffy Holmes...! In this, he some sort of depraved martial artist or something.... that's a fresh twist!

Just watched Sherlock Holmes and it was very good. Very clever and funny flick with a great cast. I also loved the 1981 London town settings. Awesome entertainment!
I read that a sequel, Sherlock Holmes 2, is currently being produced and set for a release date of November 2011. They have even added Stephen Fry to the cast, fantastic!
