Ok, well I wasn't sure whether I should put this here or the 70's thread.
I saw this today....and....well........it wasn't great. I liked the reference to 'Derranian', the camper van that they arrive in at the end and the cameo by Kim Richards (even though she was unrecognisable tbh) but apart from that it was a let down.
The plot was silly, the intergalactic bounty hunter was a total terminator/predator rip off, the kids were unlikable and the change of the purpose of Witch Mountain itself was a tad disappointing.
I love Escape to Witch Mountain...not so much Return to... but this???? could have been done a lot better.

Earth Angel, the original "Escape To Witch Mountain" was one of my favorite flicks from my childhood. I've told this story before, but after watching it, I'd try to communicate with Kim Richards telepathically. As everyone knows 'I have moves that defy gravity', but I'm not so sure about my telepathy abilities.
I will say that AnnaSophia Robb was incredible in the movie "Bridge to Terabithia" which I highly recommend.

Finally watched "Race To Witch Mountain" tonight. Worth watching for the cameos by Kim Richards, Ike Eisenmann, and Meredith Salenger. Oh and Carla Gugino from "Son In Law" was great in a supporting role.
Overall, the movie was less than stellar and if not for the Vegas setting I might have given up on it sooner.
