I´m waiting for the dvd, i think that i´m gonna like this one.
JB, why didn´t you like it?
Aww buddy where do I start.. I mean I like a good action flick as you all know, but this is beyond far fetched. He's MacGyver and Steven Seagal rolled into one. And the worst part is they don't even try to make it cheesy. They play it serious, and expect you to swallow it. I left the Cinema insulted. Shame on Liam, he's a legend..

Geez...I was on a pretty good New Movie spree- aside from the whole MBV incident. I loved Gran Torino, I really liked Yes,Man, and I even liked Four Christmases.
I was hoping this one would be good.
Sometimes, even though I hate them like MBV- it was nice to go out to the movies- so there is always the plus of leaving my house and going somewhere, and getting to eat Swedish Fishes.

I think we are going to see it on Sunday at the matinee. It's so cold out, so I will just be glad to be doing something and not be freezing. I went for a walk in the park tonight, in the dark, and it was 24 degrees out, I thought I must have been crazy to do that. So, I start getting stir crazy this time of year...so going to the movies is something I can do to break up the boredom.

I just got back from seeing it. I actually liked it.
It wasn't very long, it might have been about 1 hour 40 minutes.
I can't stand when you go to a movie and all the previews are Army commercials, and now they do previews for the new season of the Kardashians- that's so stupid, and sad that they have no movies to preview so they resort to that.
I couldn't stand how snotty the ex-wife was, and his daughter is a spoiled rotten brat....and he is like the most devoted loving father I have ever seen.
It makes you think about travelling overseas for sure. I have no desire to go anywhere that I can't speak the language. That scares me.
It also makes you think about what goes on in the black market where they drug girls and turn them in to prostitues and sell them on the black market, because I am sure that happens all the time in real life. I just don't understand why some rich creep would pay a 1/2 million dollars to sleep with a woman who is drugged out of her mind, when I am sure he could find a willing woman that would do whatever he wanted for alot less money. How much fun could it possibly be to have sex with someone who is on drugs ...and is like a zombie, and a total mess? Why would someone pay to go do that?
It was extremely action packed. I do like Liam Neeson. He was good in this movie.
I didn't mind it at all, I'd even watch it again.

I actually am shocked that Jack Burton didn't like this movie.
My friend, that I saw this movie with- last night- she just sent me an email and said she had dreams all night of Liam Nesson.
He's personally never done anything for me. I like his voice. But, I have never found him attractive. He's different. I think he's a good actor, but I don't think of him as a "heart throb" type.

I think Taken is so underrated. Easily one of Liam Neeson's best films. Awesome cast, the plot is believable, brilliant chase scenes, brilliant fight scenes. Pretty much perfect, cannot ask for anymore from an action film. 10 out of 10.
