I thought it was going to be stupid, but I liked it. A good comedy-drama. Kung Fu Panda- it was funny. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posts: 310 | From: Pittsburgh | Registered: Nov 2008 | Site Updates: 0 | IP: Logged |

I just watched it. I think it could have been an OK movie. But, they goofed it all up. I liked the part with Charlize Theron, and I liked seeing Jason Bateman in a new movie. But, the movie was very chopped up, and not much of a storyline. There was no real bad guy that could fight against him, so that was kind of weird, usually superheroes have an arch enemy. Johnny Galecki from Roseanne had a small role in this movie.
My son said the guy at the very end of the movie, is D.J. Jazzy Jeff. I would never have ever recognized him- if that really was him. I am going to have to go look it up and find out for sure.

It's a good thing in a lot of ways there was no real bad guy cause then it would have probably been violent.....

I liked the fact that there was no "villian" to defeat, it made it more of a character based film than a standard "action" genre film. I think that gave the film a heart that is missing from action films - you got learn what motivates the characters, they weren't just doing stuff for no reason.
There was plenty of violence, but I don't think any of it was over the top, it certainly wasn't a bloodbath.
Having just watched it again on DVD after seeing it in the cinema a year ago, it's very interesting to watch Charlize Theron character's reactions and behaviour around Hanc0ck.

I quite liked this film. Yes, it was nice seeing Jason Bateman in something new.
Storyline, not too sure. Would have been nice if there were others like them dotted around the world. I did think that at the end perhaps they were ending it such that a sequal was possible. I think this would make a great tv series.
