I was watching it last night. I sort of kinda like it. (hope that made sense)....I like seeing Adam Sandler in a different role-it is litle bit funny...but kind of dramatic in places. I could not stand Tei Leoni, as his wife. I can see why they were having marital problems.
**Spolier** (sort of)
I fell asleep before the end, and I hadn't seen it in awhile...I can't remember..for sure...but doesn't he end up staying with his wife?

I love Adam Sandler...his movies, his stand-up comedy (when he does it), his CDs. Spanglish is like Reign Over Me--it's not your typical Adam Sandler comedy. I won't spoil the ending for others, so all I'll say is, the movie did not end the way I wanted it to.

I love Adam Sandler. He's had better mivies. His movies are hit or miss. This was a good flick but I agree, the ending sucks...
Mr. Jack Burton,
You need to run out a get a copy of Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison. If you don't laugh at either one of these, then, I will tell Santa Clause...

Happy Gilmore: [voice over narration] During high school, I played junior hockey and still hold two league records: most time spent in the penalty box; and I was the only guy to ever take off his skate and try to stab somebody.
Shooter McGavin: Just stay out of my way or you'll pay, listen to what I say. Happy Gilmore: Hey, why don't I just go and eat some hay. I can lay by the bay, make things out of clay, I just may, what'd ya say?
