It must have gone over my head...because I could care less about the girl...
Daniel Craig is my age...which shocked me...because I think he looks in his late 50's.
You said that they should give out free trips to the Bahamas for hanging up Christmas lights...I mentioned that I get paid to hang up Christmas lights...because my house is my business...and I don't just hang up Christmas lights for 6 hours...for free...so if I go to the Caribbean...I worked just as hard as Daniel Craig did to get there...you said that me comparing what I do to what he does...was no comparison...and I said your right...cause I know what I do is hard work.
I don't care how old Olga is either...
How old are you Motley?

I said it was no comparsion because it's 2 completely different lines of work. Do you work 16 hour days? Are you on location in multiple places? Do you have an agent? Do you go to awards shows? I never said one was harder than the other although I doubt you work 16 hour days. You simply assumed that. And you also failed to acknowledge constantly posting self pics. What does my age have to do with anything? It's like comparing a doctor with a ditch digger: two completely different lines of work with nothing in common..........

Let's see...before I got married I worked 2 full time jobs...40 hours a week a piece. One I worked from 2pm-10pm, then II went to my 2nd job and worked from 11pm-7:30am. Every night, and on my 1 day off...from those 2 jobs...I worked a 3rd job- 8 hours a day...and they were all extremely hard jobs where I had to do a ton of heavy lifting.
My husband works from 8am-8pm every day...he works 6 days a week, and he has 4 herniated discs in his back...so regular people do work just as hard as actors do.
Do you think Daniel Craig is busy scrubbing the toilets, and doing the laundry and running the vaccum, and changing the sheets on his bed, and all that?
I highly doubt it.
I got up at 8am today...and I was working around my house until 10pm tonight. I took one of my guests in to my friends gift shop for an hour...and that's when I took a break. I came home, and was outside in the freezing cold...again...only this time my husband was helping me....to decorate my house for Christmas is a HUGE job. It is 3500 square feet and it has 14 rooms in it...it's not like decorating 1 bedroom at my mom and dad's house by sticking a wreath on the door. It's like decorating at a resort...only I do everything here. I have 3 couples coming tomorrow...and I have a billion things to do tomorrow before they get here.
I have to bake cookies-which sounds easy...but not when your making 10-15 dozen at a time, and you have all the dishes and cleaning up to do. I have to prep all the food for breakfast for Saturday. I have to clean 2 bathrooms. I have to wash the sheets and clean the room that the one guest is in tonight, and get it ready for tomorrow night. I have to finish decorating. Tonight I made snack baskets for all the rooms.
I just want to know how old you are...I know your in your 30's....but I wasn't sure exactly how old you are.

Never said Craig did his own cleaning. Here again 2 completely different lines of work and never said anything about your hubby working and never said regular people didn't work as hard as actors. I'm a regular person why would I do that?

Im just p!ssed at the double standard. They get these young, beautiful girls to be in these movies so the guys have something nice to look at, and what do we women in the audience get? Some craggy looking leather-faced guy!
I rented 88 MINUTES (a terrible movie, by the way) the other night cuz my husband loves Al Pacino. Even my HUSBAND had to say it was ridiculous that they had all these 25 year old women (who were built like brick houses, by the way) fawning over Al Pacino whose starting to look like my Father!
How can you say we're shallow for judging the actor by his looks? Why do you think they picked that actress to be in this film? I dont KNOW her but I'm sure she ain't no Dame Judi Dench!
So....we should hire actors for their acting chops and actresses for how good they look in a bikini? Bullocks!
Whats next? A remake of WHEN HARRY MET SALLY with Robert DeNiro and Jessica Alba?????

At least I know not to watch 88 Minutes-I was thinking that might actually be worth checking out.
It is a double standard.
I just do not find Daniel Craig even remotely attractive.
My husband is 42, and he looks better than Daniel Craig.
My point is the same as mamamia's....they always get women that are 20 or more years younger than the guy, and that's OK...but nobody accepts it reversed.
I just can't believe they can't find any man that's good looking...I don't think Christian Bale is good looking either-he gives me the creeps. He reminds me of the Count from Sesame Street.
The guy I liked alot back when, was Reb Brown. He played Captain America. They are remaking that now too.

As I said in an earlier post, the Ian Fleming true story version of James Bond was not based upon looks he was supposed to be more rugged, worn looking. There is no double standard. If you actually knew something about the books you'd know that and why didn't you mention the double standard earlier or are you simply jumping on the train since somebody else said it and you had no basis for an argument? They went away from a pretty boy Bond look to a more rugged version to stick closer to the stories. You expecting everyone to look good says a little something about shallowness......

Wow, so you all think Daniel Craig isn't hot??
I found him extremely sexy in Casino Royale (haven't seen the new one yet), am I the only person on here who thought so???
Concerning the Bond-girl: I think Bond girls HAVE to be young and hot and good looking... it's part of the story and part of the appeal of the movie. A guy can have a weathered face and still be sexy as hell, but a woman with a leathery face... wouldn't work.

Rest assure Deathbystereo… He (Daniel Craig) was only narrowly beaten by Hugh Jackman for People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’. So that must mean something I guess…
BTW What was this topic about again!?

i look at this picture and think to myself, ... handsome indeed. but i'm biased

Exactly. Nothing wrong with guys who have gray hair on the sides of their temple.
So please, no more negative comments, cause this time.. 'it's personal'.

Actually they have gotten women 20 years older or older than the guy and it's been accepted. Ever heard of Desperate Housewives (even though you may not like it it has a huge fanbase)? How Stella Got Her Groove Back (although the hubby left her later in real life it still worked for awhile)? Ever saw a movie called Copycat starring Sigourney Weaver?

I am aware that Daniel Craig apparently DOES have women who find him attractive. I just started this whole ball of fury by saying I, for one, did not find him attractive at all (I think MOTLEY thinks ISIS said it first, but if you go back you'll see it was me). I think up until him the Bonds have always been pretty good looking guys. Pierce Brosnon has never really floated my boat but he's an attractive man, I'll give him that. So maybe I expected somebody like him this time around? I don't know. For every woman whos ays they DONT find the new guy attractive Im sure you'll find a woman who DOES.
Now Hugh Jackman! Theres a face I'd pay to see!
Maybe Im just not patial to blondes.

Oh well, I guess I never went for the pretty faced men but definitely prefer guys with rough edges. Like Mr. Bond. Daniel Bond.

I think Mickey Rourke is the greatest leatherface actor of all time. He's playing a wrestler in a new movie I heard?

I do like Hugh Jackman....but no picture of Daniel Craig is going to sway me. Now...from the neck down he's good to go...and I don't have anything against gray haired men.
I think Richard Gere in Pretty Woman was one of the best looking guys I have ever seen. Daniel Craig doesn't have it...in my book, but your all free to lust after whomever you want.

I think Daniel Craig looks pretty hot. The thing I have a problem with is when they cast a woman in a "mother" part to a "daughter" who is in reality only 5-10 years younger than her! I see it all the time now. I read somewhere that Molly Shannon, who is I think 44, plays mother to Selma Blair, who is 37 or 38, in some stupid show Kath and Kim. That is only 6 years age difference. Good lord, I just hope that doesn't ever come true in real life, haha!
