My son was telling me they are making a part 3, I never knew there was a 1 and a 2...he has seen them because a friend sent them to him to watch...but I never knew anything about them, until the other night...when my son was talking about the new one. They sound kind of like the Bourne movies. Has anyone else seen them? My son says I won't like them...but the plot sounded kind of interesting, so I was wondering what anyone else thought of them?

I've saw all the Bourne movies and the Transporter movies. I absolutely detest the Transporter series but love the Bourne series. To me, they are nothing alike....

Motley is right. There is no similarity between the two franchises. Stay away from the Transporter Isis, trust me, you would hate it.

The Jason Bourne films are a lot more serious and have much better storylines. The Transporter series is more comedic in tone with absurd, comic book twists and OTT action, still, Jason Statham is an egaging actor and does the action sequences well.

Transported 1 was OK, not great but OK. Transported 2 had some unbelievably ridicules stunts that completely ruined it's credibility. Part 3 will probably be more of the same...
The Jason Bourne films 1,2,3 are very well done. I own all three. They are working on part 4 right now. For anyone who is a martial artist or enthusiast and understands the different systems, part 3 was particularly interesting in it's heavy use of Kali.
