That's just great. Why can't they just leave well enough alone? Does Hollywood have nothing better to do than just keep making sequels and remakes? I'm so sick of this. I won't watch it! It sucks! In fact, I think I already saw this in a dream last night....I mean a NIGHTMARE! Yeah, that's right....I already saw it and it sucks. Don't watch it. Then they'll learn and stop making remakes.
Of course I'm kidding and of course I'll watch it. Hey....ya never know.

My son saw it this morning, and was telling me about it, he said it looked so cheesey and stupid, that it makes the original look like they should have given Adrienne King an Academy Award. I hadn't seen it, until just now. I have no comment...other than...I won't waste my time.

Wow! He got all that from a clip lasting I minute 16 seconds? Has he thought of a career as a film critic????

Can’t say anything bad of what I already saw. On the contrary.. this actually looks promising. I am definitely looking out for this, as Jason will always be my favorite of the big three (Meyers, Krueger, Voorhees).
Oh BTW Nowheregirl, release date is set for Feb 13 2009. Something tells me this is going to be a Friday…
Thanks for sharing.

The thing is...that's not Betsy Palmer's voice...so it sounds really weird to hear someone repeating words that were made famous by someone else.
I think they can remake movies...but they do it wrong....they concentrate so much on killing people, and horrifying people...shocking the audiences with graphic violence...when they could make the movie better by concentrating on the acting, and the scenery, and the story line. The shot of the Lake at the beginning of this preview, is really good...but then they go off in to all the dark and dreary and the graphic violence. I like all the daylight scenes in the 1st Friday the 13th movies...with the counselors hanging out at the camp and swimming and walking through the woods...and then it turns creepy. New movies start out creepy and they get more and more graphic, and there is something about it to me...that just makes new stuff....be something you might be able to watch 1 time, just because you have never seen it before...but they aren't making movies that anyone (not just me)...wants to sit there and watch over and over and over again. I know it is because it is too violent, and people can handle some violence...if done right...but to watch that stuff over and over...who finds that fun?

Again, how can you judge what the movie will be4 like based on a trailer? There may well be loads of daytime shots and yes there will be blood and gore but correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the first movie had these in spades too.
And to say that they aren't making movies that ANYONE wants to watch over and over again is just another of your riduculous unfounded sweeping generalisations. Just because you and people you know may not want to watch it, lets just wait and see what the box office takings are shall we?

Didn't the original Friday the 13th movies concentrate on killing people, horrifying people, and shocking audiences? All Friday the 13ths were chocked full of graphic violence. We must have been watching different versions of the franchise than you........
