Never really watched the show that much when it was in prime time but watch it semi regularlly in syndication.
Pretty funny overall. Not really a fan of Raymond or Deborah but I get a huge kick out of Frank. Marie and Robert. I miss Peter Boyle he was a funny dude.
BTW I find the kids pretty creepy.

The guy that was the executive producer of Everybody Loves Raymond-Lew Schneider- I use to be his travel agent. He and Jeff Garlin were with my friend Eddie at a college for my 21 st birthday. It was really cool. Jeff Garlin actually had a cameo on an episode of Everybody Loves Rayomond....I never watched the show that much, but I saw that episode, and he played a guy who worked in the grocery store...and Deborah (Patricia Heaton) was flirting with him trying to make Ray jealous. It was actually really funny.

I absolutely love this show. Probably my third favorite sitcom of all time (behind Seinfeld and Married with Children). Frank and Marie steal the show.

The good thing about this show (aside from the fact is was very funny) was that me and my mother both watched it and could relate to the charactors. Debra and Ray reminded her of me and my husband and Marie and Frank reminded me of her and her boyfriend. (Also- my husband has a younger brother he is very competitive with and so that always sort of reminded me of Robert).
Ray Romano grew up in Forest Hills and my sister went to school with his brother. They had some school reunion thing not long ago and my sister blew it off. Well, one of her friends called her up and left a message on her answering machine "where are you?" and there was Ray Romano talking in the background going "Why isnt she coming?" etc. Too funny.
I actually saw him in a comedy club before EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND came out. He was very very funny.
When EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND came out there was a time when he was popping up on all the talk shows that are based out of New York and my mother was like "He must be in town, lets walk past his house and see if we bump into him". Sure enough we were walking near his house and we saw him. Now did either of us have the nerve to walk over and say "Hello"? Of course not!
He is a real Town hero around here. Many times I walk into a pizza place or an icecream parlor and see his picture autographed and up on the wall. It's nice to know that when he's in town he still goes to all the same places he did when he was a kid.

I always really liked Everybody Loves Raymond. I haven't watched it since the guy who played Raymond's dad (Peter...I'm drawing a blank here) died. I always liked the Thanksgiving episodes best.

I never liked it. Maybe I never watched enough to get into it, but it seemed really formulaic to me - same feel as so many other contemporary American sit-coms.

The guy who played his dad was Peter Boyle - he played the Monster in Young Frankenstein.

Great show! I started watching it 2 years ago in re-runs. Robert is the funniest guy on the show.

I always liked Peter Boyle and Brad Garrett but for some reason I couldn't get into this show. Ray Romano is annoying to me personally. But to each his/her own.....
