I am talking about the new one with Angelia Jolie and directed by Clint Eastwood...is anyone planning to see it?
My mom wants to see it. I was hoping to watch the old one, if I could find a copy of it.
I am not sure what to do...if I should watch the 80's one first...then go see this one...or watch this one first....
If this one is good....I might want to see the other one...but then it might not have as good of effects...but if the new one stinks....then it might ruin it for me to even care to see the old one.
What to do???

Check it out and then you'll know if it was worth watching. It's the only way.

OFF TOPIC: Have you seen the George C Scott movie THE CHANGELING? Really spooky...perfect for Halloween-time. Highly recommended.

ISIS:
This current "Changeling" has absolutely nothing to do with the 1980 movie "The Changeling". Note that the new movie does not have a "The" in the title!
The new movie is based on a real-life case story from the 1930's in Los Angeles.

Great great movie. They are already giving Angelina pre-Oscar nods. I think John Malcovich turned in a great performance as well (supporting actor) BUT the movie does contain violence and I know how some folks feel about that on here......

Whenever I see the commercial when Jolie goes "I want my son back" just the way she says it reminds me so much of Charlie Cheswick in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest when he yells, "I want my cigarettes back"
If you've ever seen that movie I think you have to agree with me

That is hysterical. I love "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", and as soon as I read that, I can totally see the comparison. I'll bust out laughing when she does it, if I go see it this weekend. I should have listed One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as one of my Top 3 favorite movies. I never get sick of watching that movie.
