starrcades were always the better booked show even in into the 90s and when wcw took over starrcades were always the better pay per view

the only starcade i remember seeing was hogan vs sting, so i cant honestly answer.

Ok, a voice if you will. Starrcade was the original, and the first one was awesome. But Wrestlemania's 1 and 3's build up was fantastic. Back then, before PPV's the build up made the attraction better. Even for 2, 4, and 5. So maybe if you lived in the south, Starrcade was better. But in NYC and the north, the sun rose and set with Wrestlemania, and the fake PPV's call Saturday Night's Main Event were the true calling card towards building the supreme PPV. Watch the new Wrestlemania documentary (it's on Netflix) it's pretty cool and guaranteed to get you ready for this weekend.
