I had him for christmas about 25 years ago when i was 4 years old and he was one of my favorite toys besides GI Joes, Thundercats, MOTU and more. I also watched the live-action pilot on TV on ABC and watched the animated show all the time on local TV after preschool.

I remember I had a friend who had Teddy Ruxpin and his friend "Grubby" (which was like a giant caterpillar thing). Only "Grubby" was broken so when she put the tape in Teddy Ruxpin Teddy would happily tell his story and when he got to "Grubbys" lines Grubby would move and make a noise that sounded like gears grinding. Too funny.

I think my son got a Teddy Ruxpin a long time ago for a gift. If I recall correctly, it broke almost immediately
