Great game, liked it becasue it utlized the full screen and made the ocean seem like an actual ocean...well, as real as an ocean can look on a 128k machine.

Come on you Spectrum owners I know you're out there. Show some love for the Sinclair ZX, beats a Commodore 64 and Atrai 2600 any day!

The Speccy(48K) was the machine that got me interested in Programming. I spent a lot of time coding away with a few friends.
My cousin had a C64, and we'd argue constantly about which was the better machine. He was always wrong..
After a few years my Dad bought me(and my brothers -- but I always thought of it as mine )a Commodore Amiga 500, and I completely forgot about the trusty Spectrum....

Some great choices there J2ME, Jetpac was great, trying to build that shuttle and collect fuel. Chuckie Egg is just a legend of a game and still a challenge.
I like the fact (though it annoyed me at the time) that once the Specturm would overheat after about 2-3 hours, it just reset itself to the default screen as if to say: '**** you, I've had enough and so have you do something else'...
Remember Odd Job Eddie? Great platformer but took an age to load...
