My sister just bought my daughter the Joan Jett doll for her birthday.
They also make a Debbie Harry and a Cyndi Lauper doll. Too cute.
You can see what they look like on AMAZON or on the ENTERTAINMENT EARTH website

That's a cool concept. Wish they actually had them way back then.

They kind of did: 'Boy George', 'Michael Jackson', 'Brooke Shields' (can you spot the odd one out? Heck - pick a reason and in some way they're all the odd one out!)
I always wanted them to release and 'Adam Ant' doll.

Was there really a Boy George? I dont remember that one.
Its funny cuz we started to try to think of ones we'd want to see. I was shocked no ones made a MADONNA doll( Maybe she wont allow it?) They make a Cher. I remember they made a Cher in the 70s too (and wow do the 70s CHER doll and the modern day CHER doll look different -just like in real life!)
But my sisters and me were saying we would want Dale Bozzio (MISSING PERSONS) and Terri Nunn (BERLIN) - dont suppose thered be high demand for those two except for die hard 80s Fans.
Actually I remember in the early 90s my best friend and I would buy generic 99 cent store wanna-be Barbies and design them to look the way we wanted them to look (dye their hair green, make them dominatrix outfits out of elecrical tape etc.) and so we could pretty much make our own dale and Terri dolls if we really wanted to.

Dale and Terri wouldn't make the grade because neither one was 'world' famous in their own right.
They've made a whole bunch of dolls over time (Vanilla Ice/MC Hammer/New Kids/John Travolta/Farrah Fawcett). Thinking about it, there's a whole bunch of 80's pop stars that would make good dolls!
