This is where me and my best friend dont see eye to eye. He loveds THUNDERCATS and I prefer HEMAN.
I KNOW THUNDERCATS was probably the stronger show, but I dont care. HE MAN just has such a special place in my heart. I remember as a teen girl going to my friends house after school and her watching HE MAN and me being like "thats for BOYS!"....and after like one or two episodes I was roped! I friggin LOVED that show! I think the fact that HE MAn sorta had a gay vibe made the show humorous, and the action made it cool.
(Feel free to vote for SHE RA, although I felt her show was just a weaker version of HE MAN)

Transformers kicked booty as far as cartoons went. It towered above He-Man and Thundercats! Mamamia, you missed a treat with that one (no point trying to catch up now... these things don't age that well!)
G-Force was great. Over here it also went by the name 'Battle of the Planets'. I still can't decide which name I prefer!

First of all, Battle of the Planets was great. What a cool show. I don't remember the toys or not. Secondly. Transformers was a better cartoons and better toys than any of the others. The toys were legit.
He man had better toys and a terrible cartoon, If you recall, the toys came out first. What the heck is Prince Adam. They had to make him. Same with Orko.
Thundercats was a superior cartoon to He man. The toys were cool, but pricey if I recall.

Loved Thundercats, GI Joe, Transformers etc.
Hell, I even loved the Rambo cartoon, anyone remember that? Rambo & the forces of freedom... or something. That also had a toy line, and I had every single piece of Rambo toy you could get your hands on.... EXCEPT... the white ninja.... DAMN YOU ELUSIVE WHITE NINJA!!!!! My collection was so close to complete.... Oh well.

I bought my best friend a BATTLE OF THE PLANETS DVD set a few Christmases back assuming he'd let me watch it with him. So far - no!
I always knew the show as "G FORCE" and when I saw the covert for BATTLE OF THE PLANETS I was like "Thats G FORCE!" Apparently the original BATTLE OF THE PLANETS were much more violent than anything in the American version of G FORCE.
This sounds so stupid now, but I remember the guys in G FORCE (Mark and Jayce!) being really HOT! Much hotter than HE MAN or SKELETOR!
I remember my nephew had a Mumra doll when he was little and when you pushed a button on its back its fists pumped. I sorta "borrowed" that from him and never gave it back. Then when he got older he saw it in my apartment and was like "Hey!!!!!"
I think I have to go visit eBay to buy a Mumra (wonder if white ninja is there too).
Mumra was one of the better villains.
How 'bout DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS????

I preferred He-Man to Thundercats, but I think that had more to do with the toys than the shows. In my kid's universe, G.I. Joe and Transformers reigned supreme.

I watched some of JAYCE AND THE WHEELED WARRIORS, but I never really got into it. Remember in the '90s when they had a NEW HEMAN? If memory serves they jettisoned him into space! the show was TERRIBLE but they used to play it in the mornings before I went to college and I would sit there with my cup of coffee watching it. My mom would walk into the kitchen and be like "How can YOU watch that?" Hahaha! She knew I liked cartoons (and still do!) but even she knew the show was below par!

Exactly It’s a close call, He-Man had the better toys, but Thundercats was a better cartoon.
I had to make a choice whether I was going to be allowed to collect 'Transformers' or 'Masters Of The Universe' I opted for the latter. This was not, I hasten to add, any indication of latent homosexuality: He-Man was not gay, he was seeing Teela and in bed with The Sorceress, it wouldn't surprise me if he was doing Evilyn on the side: so lets get this straight, and I do mean straight: He-Man wasn't gay...I don't care what this attention seeking hack has to say about it.

Jay Lee, that ninja must be related to GI Joe's Cobra mercenary Storm Shadow who's missing from my collection. I always wanted to get this one, because I had Snake Eyes and scarlet lady ninja Jinx.
Many of my Joes are badly injured, I tired to patch them up in a rather crude attempt at surgery, but like a VA hospital facing budget cuts, many just weren't the same again: Barbecue, Airtight, Shipwreck, Quick Kick (MIA---someone "borrowed" him), the humble Cobra eel was maimed, Tele viper received burns, that masked alligator dude went missing; I don’t even remember his name...

When I turned 12, and became a punk who didn't play with toys anymore, I used all my old toys for target practice in the backyard.... shot the **** outta them, with my air rifle! Man, all that Rambo, He-Man, Star Wars etc. Just blasted to pieces! Some of that stuff is worth money today.... but who knew!

I remember there was a candy that was shaped like bones and it came in a plastic coffin (you would TRY to assemble all the bones to make a skeleton but there was usually a few pieces missing, dammit). I remember one Fourth Of July in the early '90s my boyfriend and best friend were puuting G I JOe's in those little coffins, attaching firecrackers, m-80s , what have you to 'em and blowing 'em up. The one I remember the clearest -they had a GI Joe with a picture of ELVIS's face glued on it. They blew it up and then ran around screaming "The King Is Dead!" Beer makes you do crazy ****.
