I was thinking about good siblings of late, ones that are the obvious are:
Charlie Sheen/Emilio Estevez Tracey Gold/Missy Gold-Growing Pains/Benson Meg/Jennifer Tilly Dana/Kim Delaney

Good topic. I don't think that Dana and Kim Delaney are related though?? I looked them both up on imbd.com and there wasn't anything in their biographies about being related.
I actually cannot think of a single sibling match from the 80s, other than the ones that you already mentioned.

John and Joan Cusack. Although sometimes Joan's facial expressions give me the creeps.
They never starred together (I think), but I also like both Joaquin and River Phoenix.

Matt/Kevin Dillon-Kevin has played catchup for a lot of years to Matt, but Entourage is a good vehicle for him.
Rob/Chad Lowe-Chad is probably more well known for being Hilary Swank's ex-husband, I don't even know if they have been in movies together.
I think Joan and John were in quite a few things together, she has a cameo on the bus in Sixteen Candles, she might have been in Grosse Pointe Blanke too.

There were two Bloom brothers, Brian Bloom and I forget the other one. I thought they would become bigger stars than they were.

They were in around 15 or so movies together, including High Fidelity.
They would be my choice.

Kirk and Candace Cameron. Actually she showed up in a THATS SO RAVEN episode about a year ago and she was looking all kinds of fine! Dont know why she isnt still making movies, tv shows?
And what about The Wayans family? (anyone who watched IN LIVING COLOUR will tell you that was one LARGE family and they ALL had talent)My favorites were Damon and Keenan...but you don't see much of Keenan anymore. I wonder why he stopped making movies and TV shows???
More Candace and more Keenan I say!

I think Candace Cameron has kind of retired from acting to raise her family. I had totally forgotten about Joan/John Cusack. They both were in Sixteen Candles together. One thing that is odd about the Dillon brothers is that they age well. They both still look about the same. Matt got better with age though.

Ever since I was- what? 12? Matt Dillon has totally rang my bell! My husband will rent anything with Matt Dillon in it - If they had a video of Matt Dillon reading the phone book he'd rent it for me!
And unlike alot of my childhood loves Matt has actually AGED WELL!

good job TKO on mentioning our beloved john and his sis...to me, they would be the most of obvious and our faves.
i agree about joan's face, hehe she's not as charming as john huh?
are joaquin and river even close in age? i don't recall seeing them in anything together either?
it's hard to top the pairs that have already been mentioned.
what about patricia and rosanna arquette? they were in films in the 80s, but i don't know that they were in anything together..were they?

Oh gosh I loved the Wayanses. I liked In Living Color and the Wayans Brothers. And their movie Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood was so funny. I wonder if Keenan does more behind the scenes stuff now?

Jennifer and Meg Tilly. I think Jennifer's a big poker player now. The only thing I remember Meg in was Psycho II. I used to watch In Living Color all the time. I miss the Men on Film and Wanda skits.........

You betcha Ronners! John for president!!!
I’m not a big fan of Rosanna Arquette, but I do like her sister Patricia. She seemed to have stepped out of her sisters shadow after doing ‘True Romance’. I don’t think they were in anything together. Brother David though.. Yikes! I wanna put him on that list of 'actors you strangely don’t like for no reason'.
Other nominees I like to add are John and Jim Belushi. John was great in The Blues Brothers and Animal House. Jim – who I prefer – was too funny in About Last Night. He’s like brutal and charming at the same time. He simply can get away with everything. I also like his relatively new sitcom: ‘According to Jim’.

I thought of Audrey and Judy Landers too yesterday (while I was SWIFFER-ing my living room floor for some reason). I think Judy was the bigger star but I always thought Audrey was the prettier of the two. I think Judy was more bimbo-y though so she got lots of "dumb blonde" roles.
This is mean, but Ladies, can you imagine if Dennis Quaid walked up to you at a party and said "I'd like to set you up on a blind date with my brother"? You'd be like "Hot diggity!"
I mean, do they look like brothers to anyone???? I cant believe they come from the same vine!
I mean the Sheen- Estevez family? They ALL were hot in that family! And some of the other ones we mentioned you definately see a family resmeblence.....but Dennis and Randy? No. I dont see it. I refuse to believe it. Mrs Quaid musta been doin' the milkman!
