While technically the American branch of the French-Luxembourgian Diffucion, Informacion et Communicacion was founded in 1982 (they bought out the entire company 4 years later), they premiered for all intents and purposes this month 25 years ago with the debuts of Inspector Gadget and The Littles. While Andy Heyward's company has admittedly slacked off in recent years (not to mention getting on older fan's nerves by plastering over their old end of show logos), there's no denying DiC had a wonderful ride during the 80s--second only to Walt Disney Television Animation if I were to rate the 80s animation studios, for they put effort into their projects even if they were toy based like so many others. And it's great how so many of their shows still hold up over the years; I still frequently view Gadget and Real Ghostbuster episodes on YouTube, and they're still just as amusing today as they were 20 years ago. So then, for those of you who watched them in the day, what was your favorite DiC show?
