Cindymancini and I both said we liked the name "Star" which is Jamie Gertz's character in The Lost Boys.
But...now I connect that name to Star Jones....and it doesn't sound as cool.
I think a person can make a name really cool, if they are cool.
What names do you think are original, and are names you'd name one of your kids???
I actually named my Bed N Breakfast after a character's name in a Walt Disney movie.

For some reason I have always loved the way Malaina Buller has sounded. It was Bridget Fonda's character in Shag.

Yes!!!! Finally someone else will watch this. Cheesy and corny, but freakin' hilarious. I will definitely write a review for this one when I get a chance. It needs to be on the browse page.

I had a cat named Ferris because I so loved the name from LITTLE DARLINGS and then FERRIS BUELLER.
does anyone have a name they loved that they gave a pet and now they feel like they cheated themselves by NOT saving that name for when they had kids??? I mean, "Ferris" would've worked for a son OR a daughter!

The one name that my Aunt named her dog....is a name I love for a girl...but I would never have used it, because I would have thought of her dog. Her dog was part coyote and part German Shepard. It's name was Cheyenne.
I know someone who named their kids:
Canyon, Storm, Thunder and Lightening.
I like the name Raven for a girl.
I always loved the name Scarlett O'hara and love the name Rhett Butler too.
