No I missed the boat on having a Commodore 64, but I did have a Vic 20 if that counts.

I had one i was really young though. can you remember the moonwalker game on it??? it used to be an annoying computor though, you'd wait ages loading the tapes and it would come up error!!! so you'd start all over again.

i had an atari 800 xl with a tape drive. i remember playing colossus adventure on it. damn gave nearly drove me nuts

some of my friends had the Commodore.but it was way to much money to my parents to waste on a "useless toy".Great link btw.sure brought back some memories.
i`m loaning my laptop to my mother at the moment.???.maybe i will be grounding her a week or two from using that lap.just feel like that right now ;-)

Wow... Now that's "old-school"... I had a Sinclair POS. Built my first PC (and every one since) from a box of mixed 8086 and i286 components. Started with DOS 1.x... I miss the old days...
