My 20th is in August, but I am not going. My mom's 40th is the same day, and she is going. 1 of my friends has her 10th this year, and another one of my friends-her husband's 25th is this year, so I feel like alot of people I know have a class reunion coming up. And none of them really associate with any of their class mates any more.
Does anyone have a reunion coming up this year?? Are you going? Do you stay in touch with your high school friends??

We had our 10 year reunion in 1999 and I hated it. I realised the other week however, that my final year of high school was exactly half my life ago! That is really really scary.

I went to my 5 year in 1998 but didn't bother going to my 10 year in 2003. I still see a lot of the folks I went to high school with and that's good enuff for me........

My 10 year was last year but I didn't go. I stay in touch with a few of my high school friends. I still keep in touch with my best friend, we've been friends since second grade. I had the pleasure of teaching two friends' children this past year as well. A lot of the people I went to high school with...well...let's just say they're not worth keeping in touch with.

My 5-year reunion is this year, but I won't be going, if only because I have no way of getting there and nobody has contacted me.
Anyway, it would be awkward. I didn't really make any friends in high school. The only one who I've kept in contact with all these years graduated the year after I did.
Oh, well.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff

I've been to all of my class reunions. The last one was a total blast. Most of my friends even today are from high school & college.
I highly recommend attending your reunions. I really enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and also making new acquaintances I barely talked to while I was in school. It is Ronald Miller's perfect world....the older you get the less social barriers there are at high school reunions. Of course, I was always cool...ha.

Mouse Avenger-Your Dad must have had you late in life, cause your old enough to be my kid.
I just was on my class website tonight, and those goofs haven't updated their information since the 15th year class reunion(5 years ago), so I figure they don't seem to care too much. My one friend from high school, is going to meet me at the resort for the TOTO concert, so I haven't seen her in 10 years, so that is as close as I am getting to any kind of reunion. She can tell me all about the class reunion. They haven't even sent out the dinner invitations yet, my mom already sent hers back months ago. So, my class doesn't seem to be on the ball too much.
