Anyone remember this show? I used to watch it whenever I could, although it was pretty clichéd, there were some excellent, gritty action sequences, compelling storylines and even that staple of any good cop show: the shouting sergeant.
Maverick cop Rick Hunter (Frank Dryer) and partner Dee Dee McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) fight crime and the authorities who’ve got a problem with Hunter’s style. Hunter always did the old Harry Callahan routine whilst McCall usually had to go uncover as a hooker (how many times did they get away with that one?).‘Hunter’, in terms of its stories and occasionally sophisticated character arcs, was better than ‘Miami Vice’, although I presume Vice had slightly better ratings.

I used to watch Hunter religiously here on Saturday nights I think it was as a kid...
