Ok, how about a best album of series, I mean, we all collect music (most of us do) and some albums are worth buying more than others. So feel free to tell viewpoints and album choices. No Greatest Hits -- That's cheating.
My first one.. A bigger debate, but I'm doing this for interest sake.
What is the best album of Billy Joel????
In my opinion it begins and ends with Glass Houses. I don't know, I think it's because the released songs are really good, and the non released songs are even better. All for Leyna, Sleeping with the Television on, and I don't want to be alone anymore really make this a great album to go with Sometimes a Fantasy, You May be Right, It's still rock and roll to me, This album beats out the Stranger only because I'm sick of so many songs that are on that album, but I'll let you guys argue that out.

I suppose I can't play, cause I own his Greatest Hits (1973-1985). The only other album I have of him is Turnstiles. It's good, but definitely not his best.
I think I'll go for The Nylon Curtain, Only because of 'Goodnight Saigon' (I love that song!) and 'Pressure'.

As far as "Best Albums" go, I will mention Operation: Mindcrime by Queensryche. It is very rare to come across a full album, in any genre, where EVERY song is great. This one has it. From the song-writing, storyline, videos, etc. Pure genius. It is my single favorite, full album, of all time and not even one of my favorite bands. That says just how good this compilation is.

Point taken. I guess that leaves the debate for beste Queensryche album closed. I was kind of looking for the best Joel album, but I guess that can't always be that cut and dry.

I love "Glass Houses", I remember my brother and I listened to it all the time, we loved every song on it. My favorite is "Sometimes a Fantasty"...I actually listened to that song tonight...I have it on a 45 record in my jukebox...and I was painting all afternoon...so I program my jukebox to play while I paint.
