i have very strong convictions about this, and the starship thread gave me the idea. i think the 3 worst songs of the decade are:
god gave rock and roll to you- kiss we built this city on rock and roll- starship winds of change- scorpions
as many bad songs as there were, these three always stood out to me as being embarssingly bad.

I like all 3 of those songs. I can never label a song or movie "BAD," because even if I hate it, it might be someone's favorite. Everybody's taste is different.

I hate Shakin Stevens. I just hate all of his songs and I don't like Dolly Parton either.

i try to respect everybody's opinion, but i'll say you absolutely have every right to label something you don't like bad. it doesn't make it a fact, like you telling me you like those songs proves that what i said isn't fact. i know more people who agree with you than me. but those songs, in my opinion, give me douche chills they are so bad. they are the ones that always stood out to me.

I never said you couldn't...that is fine. What I said is " I would never do that."

a few years ago Blender magazine considered We Built This City to be the worst song of all time. Worst might be a little strong but cringeworthy horrible it definitely is.

'God Gave Rock and Roll to You' and 'Winds of Change'? I think they both come out in '91.
