I was finishing high school, and starting on my apprentice time in a local mechanical workshop. That summer Alphaville was on top of the Scandinavian charts with "forever young",and It was played on the radio all the time.In the lunch time i would usually sit outside in the sun, overlooking an empty field in front of me,often with Alphaville as the background music from the radio, or my Walkman.I was a big fan of them at the time, but with no hope of ever see them live in concert any time though.
20 years later a wonderful summer day, i found myself sitting on the exact same spot still listening to "forever young"But this time, the field in front of me were not empty. There were a stage, and on that stage...You probably guessed it.Alphaville were delivering their biggest hits
Anyone else who have weird/funny music stories like this to share?
Take care. Regards

I currently have no stories to tell, but I sure agree with you that the world is weird and getting weirder everyday...
