What a great band and very underrated. Can't believe these guys didn't get all that big considering how great their music was. Anybody else agree about these guys?

I really dug spirit of 76, played that a lot driving around town. I liked their early punkish sort of stuuf, they lost me with stuff like Sold me down the river later on. I think the Alarm recently released a well received comeback album whch I have yet to check out.

I'm pretty sure I saw an episode of VH1's Bands reunited about The Alarm...

Call me crazy, but I don't think I'd ever heard of The Alarm in the 80's. When I saw Bands Reunited, I was like "Hmmm, guess they were big in england".
I didn't realize they were pretty popular here in the states, but I'll be damned if I remembered them.
Must have been the late 80's I'm guessing??
