I can't stand the boss. And the boss live might be cool, but this album is the pinnacle of blah.

My opinion - I like maybe 6 songs on this, even though it's a sort of greatest hits, but live albums don't count as greatest hits albums. I just can't stand the boss. It has just about every good song but it just doesn't do it for me.
My rating - 7 just because I like Rosalita and Tenth Avenue Freeze Out.

I love the Boss and think that many of his albums are great. But this was just too much for me to take in one go. When he 'rocks out' with the uptempo tracks they all just sound samey and lose the nuances they had as studio tracks.
That said, the album that came after this; "Tunnel Of Love", was mauled by the critics at the time, but I always felt that it was one of his best. It's been re-appraised now and critics seem to think it's great.
