I've been watching that series off and on and some of the choices makes me scratch my head. Not so much the choices as the songs I've seen all belong on the list but some seem to be too high and some too low.
Cars at 93? That should be top 10 in my book. I Can't Go For That at Number 6? Good song but not even top 50 in my book.
Just a few examples.

I agree, Livin' on a Prayer was a great song. If you include Public Enemy, shouldn't you include NWA? As for the Talking Heads, where's Wild Wild Life?

Dammit, you gave them away! :/ No point in watching it now. But I do agree with you that Cars should be much higher up.

I watched about half of it...and taped the rest. I gotta say the first few they showed at the tail end were pretty bad in my opinion (Everybody Wang Chung Tonight when Dance Hall Days is such a better song? My Prerogative????) but the liist gets better as it goes on. I like Livin On A Prayer but #1? I dont know. I would have preferred Pour Some Sugar On Me.(Glad to see Metal got it's due respect though)

I was kind of surprised by Living on a Prayer as being number one. I definitely think it deserves to be on the list. Some I was surprised that weren't on there were Thriller and Beat It. Those were iconic songs of the decade. Does anyone know if they arrived at this list because of votes that people submitted? How did they come up with it?

When Debbie Gibson makes lists like this, I get annoyed at how people usually seem to single out "Only In My Dreams" as her best song. It was an OK pop song, IMO, but feel it is way overrated. I much prefer the music and videos for her hit ballads "Foolish Beat" and "Lost In Your Eyes". Those are definitely my favorites from her.
