Had fun finding all those Chicks that rock videos on YouTube so decided to make it a semi-regular thing to do. Going to post videos that share a like theme.
For my first installment I'm posting a bunch of Cool videos of ska groups. If you think I missed some feel free to add your own.

Labels for bands are very subjective. Maybe not a true ska band in the truest sense of the word but they are ska influenced. I could have easily added some No Doubt videos too.

Nope, sorry. Haircut 100 were neither Ska nor Ska influenced. They weren't Ska in any way shape or form. It's like saying Culture Club were Ska.

Even though I don't consider myself to be religious I still consider this movie to be a guilty pleasure of mine. The music is great and the singing performances are simply amazing. I give you quite a few clips from the 1973 Rock Opera Jesus Christ Superstar.
Keep in mind that these clips are in no way in chronological order as they appeared in the movie. Just posted them in the order that I found them.

Tonight I decided to listen to the retroactive channel on my digital cable and instead of finding the video for the song being played I went and found a different song by that same artist. So in some instances I found a hit and in others dug a little deeper. Hoping I found something for everybody.

Sammy--I like your "metal bands nobody remembers" list. I remember some of them, like Lizzy Borden, Tora Tora and Every Mother's Nightmare. Some of the others aren't so familiar.

A lady who deserved to be in my Chicks that rock list but she's so great she and her band deserve a special chapter of their own. This chick has balls and her band truly rocks and adds great song writing to boot. Without further adieu I present to you Chrissy Hynde and The Pretenders.

I give you one of the greatest bands of all time. A band who I honestly feel would have an incredibly profitable tour if they ever decided to reunite.

I'd pay top dollar to see The Police reunite. I'm suprised someone hasn't approached them with a huge offer to reunite and tour. It's not like any of them need the money. Stewart Copeland has a side project with Trey Anastasio (Phish) and Les Claypool (Primus) called Oysterhead. Some of their stuff is pretty good but nothing could beat The Police.
