In a Tom Petty related item, Dave Grohl, former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighters frontman was offered the drumming job in Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers by Tom Petty himself after Nirvana ended. Grohl politely turned him down so he could concentrate on fronting his own band the Foo Fighters. I will try and find the article on this later tonight or in the morning......

my faves are the same as isis's list except for 'don't do me like that'..i would definitely add 'learning to fly.'
