First song I ever heard from Motley Crue and possibly my favourite as well. Such a raw rocking sound that layed the foundation of making Motley Crue one of the biggest bands of the metal genre. Classic.

Great song choice Sam! I was watching the DVD of their videos the other day and noticed how young they all looked. My cousin bought some sort of Greatest Remastered Hits of the Crue's that has Livewire on it. In the remastered versions, Livewire sounds alot less raw than it did originally. There's nothing like the original.....

They totally shread on this song in concert. My adrenaline was really pumping during all the blasts of dry ice fog, the lights everything was just so intense during this song.

I could never pass up talking about my favorite band or about "Live Wire" which was The Crue's first hit and an absolute Rock till You Drop, In Your Face, Anthem of 80's Hair Metal Decadence!!! This is the song that started it all!! Not just for Motley Crue but for the Hair/Glam movement, in general!!!! When I saw the boys cut it up live on the Red White and Crue tour, I was totally blown away!!! They play it so much faster live and it rocks like a 150 mph Rhino on speed with Rabies!!!! This is the complete Metal anthem and vintage, take no prisoners, sleazy Motley Crue. I sang this song in Atlanta, GA with a karaoke band!!! I was the freakin' lead singer!!! Made a complete fool of myself but for those few minutes I was as big as Vince Neil and could hit the high notes (or so I thought). My 15 minutes of fame came and went pretty fast. Motley Crue ROCKS LIKE A BIG DAWG!!!!!!!!!
