I didn't know where to post this, since it is a 70's topic, but I figured 80's music was better than 70's movies. Anyhoo, I was watching part of something on disco music on VH1 while I ate my dinner today, and it brought back memories of junior high school. Our gym teacher had us do disco "line dancing" in gym class. I remember dancing to all the songs from Sat. Night Fever. The teacher brought in her own 45's and albums and played them on a record player over a loudspeaker in the gym. We had so much fun, it wasn't like being in gym at all. Our teacher wasn't your typical gym teacher either (for ex. Miss Ballbricker). She was really pretty and petite and had long curly blondish brown hair. All of the boys loved her! Oh well, just dishing up some old memories!

Before anything, don't worry about the placement thing anymore. I put the 80s Avenger stuff to sleep. It wasn't my job...It was the mods. I shouldn't have infringed upon them.
Having said that, I do enjoy disco. I like the High Energy genre in particular. It has a very cinematic feel to it. Miquel Brown and artists like that created great music that could easily fit in to an 80s comedy.
I'm glad for Shareaza...I've been able to download all sorts of rare 12 inch tracks. I burn them on to mix discs. Give it a shot...You'll like it.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff
