you haven't lived until you see the "flamethrower" scene in the parisian nightsuit episode of "freaks and geeks." fabulous! and that whole series is definitely a must for 80s lovers.

I have memories of Flamethrower being played at an extremely high volume thru boom box speakers on the last day of school freshman year 1982. Ah the memories!

i was big on centerfold back when freeze frame came out. that song got SICK quantities of air play. i think i only happened across flamethrower later on.
yeah, i guess Fs&Gs is kinda weirdly grungy. one of the fun things about it is picking out the anachronisms/inaccuracies (like in the atari episode they used the 2600 game boxes with the fancy cover art when it was a VCS when it first came out and had much plainer boxes; and there's no way you can play a whole game of D&D in one night)... still think it was a great show though.

OMG- my husband and I just about peed ourselves when he wore that "Parisian Nightsuit" to school! I think I'm going to buy the whole dvd set for my hubby's birhtday (always a good excuse to buy a dvd- I loved that show- Hey that's another good show that was cancelled!) ISIS, if you hear Flamethrower on the radio, I'm sure you will remember it- It got heavy airplay in the 80's.
