If you were a fan of the new wave era, then you must love OMD, (Orchestral Manuevers In The dark)... they are responsible for great hits as in the "Pretty In Pink" soundtracks too..

They were something else, and in fact they are planning a reunion soon! I actually like their early albums the best when they were more Kraftwerk influenced.

reunion eh? lots of 80s retro/synth pop bands are coming back, i love it.
i can listen to a lot of OMD's music. electricity and enola are probably my favorites.
