Funny story I had to share with you all. I was riding in the car this weekend with my oldest nephew who is 10 and we were listening to my Lionel Richie CD. He asked me if I had any other old fashioned music! I nearly busted a gut laughing so hard. Never thought I would hear 80s' music referred to as old fashioned, maybe in like 50 years or so, but not today! LOL

Funny that it was referred to as old fashioned music, maybe because there was no cursing in it or something. I had a weird moment the other day when I was in this restaurant/takeout and they were playing some 80's songs, I saw these two young looking girls and they didn't look like they were born yet in 1983 when I saw them bopping their heads to Real Life's Send me an angel. I guess catchy music is universal and it will get reappraised in some way by the next generation.

For sure Riptide. I mean, how many times can 'I Melt With You' be released and still be a hit every dang time?!
