I heard this song this afternoon on the radio in my car...and it is a great cruising song...whenever I hear Huey Lewis ...they are so totally 80's to me, I always liked them..I liked the words to this song...does anyone else??
Heart And Soul Huey Lewis & The News
Two o'clock this morning If she should come a calling I couldn't dream of turning her away And if it got hot and hectic I know she'd be electric I'd let her take her chances with me You see, she gets what she wants
'Cause she's heart and soul She's hot and cold She's got it all Hot loving every night Ooh-oh Ooh-oh-oh, ooh
Can't you see her standing there See how she looks, see how she cares I let her steal the night away from me Nine o'clock this morning She left without a warning I let her take advantage of me You see, she got what she wanted
'Cause she's heart and soul She's hot and cold She's got it all Hot loving every night Ooh-oh Ooh-oh-oh, ooh

But when I first saw the subject thread, the first thing that popped into my mind was a completely different song, also entitled "Heart And Soul", by T'Pau, from 1987.

Yeah...I love that song too...I forgot about the title being the same.
I actually like alot of Huey Lewis's other songs, like Do You Believe in Love...and the song Heart of Rock N Roll- had to be one of the most played songs when I was a teenager. I remember it being on the TOP 40 a long time...that's back when the Top 40 was so cool...I mean the music was so great...some songs that were awesome never got up the charts that far because there just were so many songs, and such diverseness....from rock bands, to solo artists...to rap to country...all music was doing great then.
