Who will back me up and say that Petera Catera is God. I love his song "The glory of love" and recently keep listening to "You're the Inspiration".
"I'll take you to my castle far away.

Sorry I can't share your love for Peter Cetera. Cetera turned the group Chicago from a good rock/jazz fusion group into a sappy pop group. Same can be said about Michael McDonald and what he did to the Doobie Brothers. Both are talented but I prefer the direction the early incarnations of their groups over what they eventually became because of these two.
Now Lemmy on the other hand is God.

I glanced at the topic and thought it said "Peter Cetera is dead". I thought, oh no he had some good songs. Then I had a closer look, and I'm feeling relieved now.

When I was young like 7 or 8 when Karate Kid two came out, my best friend and I sat in front of this boys house ( she had a crush on him)and we sang our little hearts out. We sang The Glory Of Love over and over again.
After like a half an hour his family pulled up in their station wagon. This whole time we thought he was in his housse and he had been out with his family.
We were a bit embarrassed when he got home so we left.Never to sing Peter Cetera's love songs to him again.

Peter Cetera?? You're kidding, right?
"I am the man who will fight for your honor. I'll be the hero you're dreaming of We'll live forever, knowing together That we did it all for the glory of love"
Yeah, right!
There are no lyrics never more corny as that!
Sam is correct: Cetera took Chicago from a decent jazzy-pop group into bland mushy pop group.

Oh I really like Peter Cetera and I loved his solo album that had SOS, Apple of Your Daddy's Eye, and I Wanna Take Forever Tonight. That album was released in 1995 and I can't honestly think of a song on there that I don't like. I think he has had a very successful solo career and a very successful career with duets as well. He has sung with Cher, Amy Grant, Crystal Bernard, and Ronna Reeves. I love this album and was able to see him in concert as well.
I have to admit the main reason I went to the concert was because Crystal Bernard was supposed to be in concert with him and ended up not being able to come so Ronna Reeves was with him instead. She sang the ABBA song SOS on this particular album. I remember the concert very well because someone had their shoes off the whole time and it was the same day that the Braves won the World series!!!!!
