Okay I am actually listening to Travis Tritt's version of this popular Eagles song, but it is still worth adding to a favorites list. I like the music in this and maybe the melody, I am not very good at music so if I haven't guessed the right thing then shoot me!! hehehe. Maybe it is the rhythm that is good too.
Anyway this may even be a 70's song, if it is then someone please correct me. Does anyone else have a fancy for this song?

The Eagles' version is definitely from the early 70's, when the group is more country-flavored, and long before Joe Walsh joined the band and made it more rock & roll.
I don't know when Travis Tritt's version came out, though.

I like this song. The Tritt version is OK but the Eagles version was really good. Good choice Jessie.

I love The Eagles and already saw them perform live twice! Though I’m not too wild of this particular song. I prefer Don Henley as a singer, who IMO has one of the best male voices out there. I like his solo work just as much.

And the line "It's a girl my lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowing down to take a look at me" is an absolute classic!

I love the EAGLES, they are one of my all time favorite bands too. Just this afternoon..."One of these Nights" was playing on the radio, I love that song. I also love Peaceful Easy Feeling, In the City, New Kid in Town and so many more...they are great. I heard this year is their last year to tour together. I would love to see them in concert.
I am almost positive Travis Tritt's version came out in the 90's. He was ok, he sounded alot like them, but they are way better...I think in his video the Eagles were in it, if I remember right.
