I work at a pop radio station that does a one-hour '80s show each day at 11.
Today I'm filling in for the host, who's on a business trip.
I'm dumping a lot of the usual Madonna B-sides and Duran Duran (that get played ad nauseum) in favor of some hard rock.
Do you like this playlist?
Ramones, 'I Wanna Be Sedated' (c. 1978, heh heh) Dire Straits, 'Money For Nothing' Bananarama, 'Venus' Aerosmith, 'Ragdoll' Scorpions, 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' Tone Loc, 'Funky Cold Medina' Go-Gos, 'Our Lips Are Sealed' U2, 'Pride (In The Name Of Love)' Joan Jett, 'I Love Rock N' Roll' Ozzy Osbourne, 'Crazy Train' The Cure, 'Just Like Heaven' Fabulous Thunderbirds, 'Tuff Enuff'
And maybe I'll wrap it up with
Billy Idol, 'Rock The Cradle Of Love' (1990)
Maybe next time I can play some Metallica.

You gots to play Don't It Make Ya Feel by the Headpins next time.
And Funky Cold Medina? I'd never heard of this song before, and now that I have, it will own my life. In high school, I was friends with a guy named Dan Medina, and we'd usually make fun of him because he was a drunken moron. Oh I can't wait until this song downloads.
edit, 3 hours later: Oh My God.
